Job Responsibilities

• Craft Personalized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' needs and forge unique therapy strategies to assist them in reaching their functional objectives.
• Deliver Therapeutic Interventions: Employ proven therapeutic modalities to enhance patients' motor capabilities, cognitive skills, and activities of daily living.
• Collaborate in Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with a roster of professionals, including OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff, to ensure that care is delivered from a comprehensive, holistic perspective.
• Guide Patients and Caregivers: Educate both patients and their families on therapy techniques to encourage continued progress outside of treatment sessions.
• Evaluate and Document Progress: Regularly assess clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring patients remain on the right path.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Ongoing education and post-graduation certifications are encouraged and supported.

Required Certifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory.
