This is an excellent opportunity for experienced nurses seeking a full-time ( Monday-Friday) schedule at a VA healthcare facility. Position: Operating Room Registered Nurse Location: VA Northern California Health Care System-Martinez, CA Employment Type: Full-Time, Monday-Friday Schedule: 7:00AM-3:30PM or 7:30AM-4:00PM Pay: Competitive Hourly Rate $75.00 REQUIREMENTS: U.S Citizenship is required for Federal Employment (VA) positions Current, unrestricted RN license Minimum of 2 years of current, consecutive OR RN experience Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959 Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, pull and move equipment and supplies in accordance with safe patient handling guidelines. RESPONSIBILITIES: Must have Circulate and SCRUB experience in the following surgeries- general, urology, gyne and plastics. OR RN for Ambulatory Surgery Center working on minor outpatient cases in vascular, podiatry, ortho, general surgery, hernias, lap choles, urology, ENT, eyes, plastics and assisting with pain.
