We are Looking for:

An MRI Tech for our practice provides specialized expertise to ensure all patients receive high-quality and efficient care. In this position, you will perform radiological exams perform technical laboratory tests, and report results timely to providers.

Responsibilities:

• Using proper radiation protection and precautions prepares and operates radiographic, fluoroscopic, and portable equipment.
• Performs diagnostic MRI imaging procedures to include: injection of Radio-pharmaceutical and/or IV contrast, the administration of oral contrast, protocol setup, patient positioning, reconstruction and filming of images, network image transfers, and archiving image data.
• Possesses basic computer knowledge; operates multiple computer systems, Radiology Information Systems, and Office software to maintain patient and exam documents.
• Responsible for patient data and films including printing, archiving, retrieval, network data transfers, tracking, and logging of loaned films and requested outside films.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action

Requirements:

• Aligns with American College of Radiology Accreditation Standards and recommendations
• Completed accredited radiology education program and /or State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist and able to start IVs and administer contrast
• ARRT Certification (Required)
• BLS Certification (Preferred)
