Mechanical Engineering Intern

We’re looking for a Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our Industrial/Energy team at our Wichita location (in office). As an intern, you will help with the design of various projects that may include refineries, ammonia/fertilizer plants, logistics/terminals, and more.

What You Will Do:

• Gain diverse experience by working on a variety of real-world projects.
• Learn and use industry-specific design software.
• Work directly with licensed engineers, project managers, and designers.
• Learn the full design process from start to finish.
• Assist the project team in meeting client expectations and schedules.

Requirements:

• Actively pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree from an ABET accredited program.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Exposure to or awareness of industry-specific software (AutoCAD and/or Solidworks) is preferred.
• Strong desire to be part of a team-oriented culture.
• Positive attitude, strong enthusiasm, and eagerness to learn.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
