Propane Bobtail DriverThe Propane Bobtail Driver is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of propane to our customers. The Delivery Driver will deliver, load and unload propane while providing exceptional customer service. Our Delivery Drivers are also accountable for upholding the highest standards for safety in the delivery and handling of propane and for conducting regular vehicle inspections and maintenance.What you'll do:Transfer, collect, load and deliver propane, product to and from containers (bulk truck, tanks and/or cylinders) for customers.Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.Leverage technology where available to: Monitor and track the transfer of propane inventory, tank levels and container sizing; accurately record and print delivery tickets for customers for product delivered; accurately complete and submit daily driver report where necessary.Maintain equipment to the highest level of safety standards, reporting any mechanical issues to the Fleet Manager/Dispatcher. Conduct and, if applicable document, pre and post vehicle inspections, site inspections and visual tank inspections.Collaborate with the Dispatcher frequently for routing and scheduling information. Notify the dispatcher of any product, customer, routing, scheduling or safety issues immediately to obtain their guidance and instruction on how to resolve the issue or situation.Employees may be required to work overtime hours when business needs require it.Other duties as assigned.What you bring:High School Diploma/GEDMinimum of 1 year delivery driver experience preferredCDL Class A or BTanker and Hazmat endorsement preferredCurrent DOT medical certificationLegal Authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening.We offer multiple work rotations based on operational needs and employee preference:6 months on / 6 months off7 months on / 5 months off8 months on / 4 months off9 months on / 3 months offDuring your active season, you'll play a critical role in delivering propane and supporting customers throughout high?demand winter months. Off?season periods provide extended time away from work between active assignments.What to Expect:Consistent, full-time hours during peak heating season and opportunities for overtimeOpportunity to return each season based on performance and business needsHands-on role supporting residential and commercial propane customersSchedule selection will be finalized during the hiring process based on business demand and candidate preference.The hourly rate ranges from $28.00 – $31.00, with flexibility for highly qualified candidates based on industry experience, CDL/Hazmat endorsements, and technical expertise.Please note the compensation information shown above is a general guideline only.
