As a valued expert in the school community, you will provide essential psychological services, help create positive learning spaces, and collaborate closely with educators and families. Your experience and expertise will be instrumental in fostering student growth and success.
Qualifications & Desired Background:
- Active or eligible School Psychologist certification
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
- Familiarity with assessment tools, Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and special education processes
- Strong consultation, collaboration, and communication skills
- Ability to build rapport with students, staff, and parents
- Experience in K-12 school settings preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments to identify the needs of students
- Develop and support IEPs and behavior intervention plans
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to implement evidence-based interventions
- Provide direct and indirect counseling services to students
- Assist in crisis intervention and support initiatives that enhance mental health and well-being
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines
