You'll become well trained to cover all aspects of store operations, achieve key performance and financial objectives , as well as directional and performance planning . Be part of it!Overall, we are looking for someone who takes pride in being a great merchant , a passionate leader , and committed to making sure every customer experience is better than the last!Here are some ways you will make an impact:Assists with the management of all aspects of Store operations including customer service, store condition and the selection, training, supervising, and performance management of Store Sales AssociatesAssists in unloading all merchandise from delivery trucks, organizes merchandise, and transfers merchandise from stockroom to storeCollaborates with team members to ensure the store meets or exceeds the established merchandising standards for product quality, presentation and visual marketing/merchandisingKeep up with reporting to support sales, earnings, and minimizing shrinkAssumes full management responsibility in the absence of the Store ManagerIf this sounds like you, make sure you also meet these requirements:Two (2) or more years of grocery or retail management experienceHands-on leadership experience in grocery retail (e.g. Produce, Deli/Bakery, or Meat/Seafood departments) is highly preferred but not required.Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs with frequent lifting above shoulder heightSchedule Availability: Ability to work flexible, full-time schedule to include days, evenings, weekends and holidaysYou must be 18 years of age or olderHigh School Diploma / EquivalentSuccessfully pass our pre-employment checks , including a drug screen and criminal background checkValid driver’s license and safe driving record per GFS policyNote: Please make sure you use a valid email so we can follow up with you and let you know what’s happening next in the process!,BE PART OF AN AMAZING CULTURE WHERE WHAT MATTERS TO YOU, MATTERS TO US!Gordon Food Service values our customers and understands that their success is largely dependent upon their workforce.
