Job Title: RN Oncology Profession: RN Specialty: Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day/Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Step down experience highly preferred License: RN License Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Excellent communication skills - Ability to interpret cardiac arrhythmias - Expert in chemotherapy administration and monitoring of side effects - High level of respiratory care required, including tracheostomies, chest tubes, Airvo, CPAP/BiPAP - Ability to identify rapidly changing patient conditions - Ability to multitask in critical situations - Experience with end-of-life care and hospice Description: Looking for an RN specializing in oncology. Responsibilities include caring for a complex medical oncology population. Candidates must possess step-down experience. ACLS certification is required for this role. The ability to interpret cardiac arrhythmias is essential. Candidates should be experts in chemotherapy administration and monitoring side effects. High levels of respiratory care skills are necessary, including management of tracheostomies, chest tubes, Airvo, CPAP, and BiPAP. The role requires the ability to identify rapidly changing patient conditions and effectively multitask in critical situations. Experience with end-of-life care and hospice is needed.
