Sr Finance Analyst

Responsibilities Overall end-to-end owner of accounting, control and compliance for the assigned entities (High -Significant risk/Manufacturing/ Non-manufacturing multi SBG co codes). Ensure entity comply with US GAAP and HON policies. Own, manage and co‑ordinate end‑to‑end accounting and control process including the period‑end closing activities. Deliver a standard month‑end close timetable and ensure compliance across entities. Troubleshoot system jobs for month close; identify root cause and timely resolution to deliver close. Exposure and understanding of technical accounting (Project, Revenue, cost accounting, assessment & distributions, COPA cycles). Ensure foreign transactions including hedging and translations are properly recorded. Own and/or support balance sheet review process. Complete quarterly variance analysis of the B/S and P/L. Ensure robust controls in place and drive action to remediate deficiencies. Manage balance sheet account reconciliation processes, ensure reconciliations are delivered with quality and drive closure of aged, unreconciled or invalid items as per policy. Support new SAP implementation and ensure stabilization within three month ends. Coordinate and support internal audit, external audit and SOX compliance. Center Entity Controller Ensuring quality and timely submission of International Tax Packs and Workbooks for 10‑K and 10‑Q filings. Oversee deliverables from BPO partners delivering GA operations. Maintain regular connection with BPO partners and key stakeholders in finance and business to deliver US GAAP compliant financials. Identify and lead process improvement opportunities, lead the project and ensure completion. Responsible for transitioning controllership operations activities and ensuring due diligence on all new controllership ops transitions and new work/growth. Partner with business on new initiatives and join projects. Provide financial reports, analysis, explanations and advice based on knowledge of financial information, relevant GAAP and supporting SAP systems to SBU auditors. Manage ad‑hoc queries from business, in‑country team and other stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or equivalent with strong finance operational background. Chartered Accountant/ICWA or equivalent with strong academic achievements. Minimum 8–10 years of experience in public accounting and similar industry. Experience handling financial statements of companies with international presence and hands‑on knowledge of transition experience preferred. Hands‑on experience with SAP and HFM. Extensive knowledge of US GAAP. Knowledge of R2R concepts, processes and best practices. Good working knowledge of US GAAP, Local GAAP and Sarbanes‑Oxley. Good knowledge of internal control framework/SOX at multinational setup. Process‑oriented with excellent problem‑solving skills. Strong technical and analytical skills. Familiar with Sarbanes‑Oxley and Six Sigma. Project mindset, can identify opportunities and lead projects. Good business acumen including company, legal entity, regulatory and compliance design.
