Your Role
As a Certified Surgical Technologist, you'll play an essential role in surgical procedures, working closely with surgeons, nurses, and other members of the surgical team. You'll prepare and organize surgical instruments and equipment, maintain sterile technique, anticipate the needs of the surgical team during operations, and assist in the safe and efficient completion of procedures. After surgery, you'll help with instrument sterilization and room turnover, ensuring a clean, safe environment for patients and staff alike.
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must have completed an accredited Surgical Technology program and hold current certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) from NBSTSA or an equivalent credential. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. While experience in a surgical setting is preferred, new graduates are encouraged to apply. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong teamwork, excellent communication, and a passion for patient safety and care.
