Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.The organization is seeking a Senior Cisco Unified Communications Engineer to design, administer, and sustain enterprise and classified voice and collaboration environments, with primary responsibility for Cisco CUCM, Unity Connection, VoIP infrastructure, voice gateways, SIP, conferencing, and associated collaboration platforms. The role will provide Tier III technical leadership across system engineering, troubleshooting, upgrades, modernization, and lifecycle management while ensuring DISA STIG compliance, cybersecurity hardening, configuration management, and accreditation requirements are met.This role will be worked onsite in Largo, FL and requires an active TS/SCI clearance. Relocation assistance is available.What You Will Do:Configure, administer, and maintain Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) clusters supporting enterprise and classified environmentsManage and maintain Cisco Unity Connection voicemail systems, including user provisioning, call handlers, automated attendants, and voicemail integrationsConfigure and support dial plans, route patterns, route groups, route lists, SIP trunks, device pools, partitions, and calling search spacesAdminister and troubleshoot voice gateways, session border controllers, and VoIP infrastructure.Provide Tier III technical support, troubleshooting complex voice, call routing, registration, signaling, and voice quality issuesDesign, implement, and maintain hunt pilots, hunt lists, line groups, call queuing, and call coverage solutions to optimize call distribution and operational workflowsConfigure, manage, and support Meet-Me conferencing services, conference bridge resources, and collaboration platformsPlan, coordinate, and execute CUCM and Unity Connection upgrades, patches, and lifecycle management activitiesDevelop upgrade runbooks, rollback procedures, testing plans, and maintenance schedules to ensure successful system implementationsDeploy, configure, and integrate UniFi FX solutions within enterprise communications environment.Support migration planning, testing, validation, accreditation activitiesMaintain secure communications environments in accordance with DoD, organizational, and cybersecurity requirements.Develop and maintain engineering diagrams, configuration standards, operational procedures, disaster recovery plans, and technical documentationCreate, document, and defend system change requests while ensuring configuration management complianceConduct root cause analysis, incident response activities, and corrective actions to improve system reliability and performanceCollaborate with cybersecurity, network, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to implement and support enterprise communication servicesGather, analyze, and report system performance metrics to support operational readiness, capacity planning, and continuous of enterprise voice and collaboration platformsQualifications You Must Have:Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years of experienceActive and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI security clearance is required prior to start dateDoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ or CISSP preferred) and must be maintainedEnterprise voice/collaboration engineering experience, including hands-on administration and engineering of Cisco CUCM in complex environmentsExperience with CUCM, Unity Connection, SIP, dial plans, voice gateways, SBCs, conferencing, and Tier III troubleshooting.Experience securing DoD or regulated environments, including DISA STIGs, vulnerability remediation, security hardening, compliance, and cybersecurity assessmentsExperience leading CUCM/Unity upgrades, migrations, integrations, testing, production cutovers, change management, and technical documentationQualifications We Prefer:Experience with Juniper SRX, EX series routers and switchesExperience deploying security solutions for DoD
