TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Seattle, Washington, 98122!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 Year Required License: Compact License Required Certifications: ACLS BLS NIHSS PALS Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred Traveler must be open to floating to different campuses Weekends required: Every other Description: All previous permanent employees of any affiliated facility must be separated from the health system for a minimum of 3 months to qualify for a travel position. First-time travelers are not accepted. Traveler must be willing to float to different campuses. Typical emergency department patients include adults and pediatrics. Responsibilities include ambulance triage, ED holding, and lobby triage. The unit has a total of 40 beds. Skills required include BiPAP/CPAP management and blood product administration. Experience in ventilator care and central line management is essential. Competency in interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs) and dysrhythmias is required. Additional tasks include rapid infuser operation, trach care, and obtaining 12 lead ECGs. Providers may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Communication devices will be provided as needed for job duties. Candidates should not reach out to facility contacts directly unless for an agreed-upon interview. All requests for time off must be submitted during the initial application process. Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment. All providers are required to comply with the outlined responsibilities and expectations.
