Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced ER RN to provide compassionate and efficient emergency care in a critical access hospital. This 13-week contract requires night shifts, with an emphasis on rapid assessment, triage, and patient stabilization.

Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to emergency situations, delivering high-quality patient care.
• Perform IV starts, triage assessments, and other critical interventions.
• Follow unit protocols and maintain compliance with certification requirements.
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active WV or Compact RN license, pending licenses accepted.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of RN experience in emergency or small ED settings.
• Demonstrate proficiency in IV placement and triage procedures.
• Be certified in BLS, ACLS, and PALS (preferred) through the American Heart Association.
• Have travel experience and ability to adapt to diverse clinical environments.
• Provide at least 2 recent manager or charge nurse references.
