Travel Registered Nurse (RN) L&D

Schedule: Varied - Candidate Must Be Flexible

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 80 hours every 2 weeks

Requirements:

• Must have L&D, postpartum, and nursery experience
• 2 years of labor and delivery and couplet care experience
• Licenses and Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, FM (Fetal Monitoring certification)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide care for antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, high-risk patients, and well babies.
• Start adult and neonatal IVs and Accu checks; perform PKU on newborns.
• Resuscitate newborns as needed, perform APGAR scoring, and bulb suctioning.
• Assist in the administration of anesthesia for laboring patients and monitor PCA pumps.
• Administer and titrate medications such as Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, and Insulin drips.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and assist with procedures like external cephalic versions.

Compliance / Notes:

• Must be able to start on the set date at 7:00 AM.
• Willingness to float to other departments as needed.
• Must work any shifts, preferably nights.
• Pay for holidays is based on hours worked on the day.
