Days Left: 7 days, 3 hours left Apply Job Details: Title: Data Center Technician II Location: Boardman, OR Duration: 6 months Pay Rate: $24/Hr - $26/Hr Job Requirements and Working Conditions: Job Description: Work schedule:
• Schedule flexibility required, including potential night shift positions
• Shift options include Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Saturday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM or 7:30 AM-6:00 PM
• Contingent workers are expected to work holidays if scheduled (regular pay, not holiday pay)
• First two weeks: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM (Training) Basic Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic networking knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP (1+ years)
• Familiarity with hardware components inside a server/computer (1+ years)
• Ability to perform hardware replacements and repairs
• Basic Linux/Unix command line knowledge
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
• Receptive to feedback and able to adjust performance and behavior as required Degree or Certification:
• High school or equivalent diploma
• (Optional) CompTIA, CompTIA+ Technical Skills:
• Ability to perform hardware replacements and repairs
• Understanding of cooling systems and power distribution
• Basic Linux/Unix command line knowledge
• Experience with ticketing systems and documentation
• Ability to perform basic network troubleshooting Physical Environment and Safety Protocols:
• Must successfully pass through metal detection equipment daily
• Required to work in data center environments with variable temperature conditions
• Temperature fluctuations dependent on seasonal changes and external weather conditions
• Work areas may contain environmental allergens and airborne particles including dust Physical Requirements:
• Must successfully pass through metal detection equipment daily
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Standing/walking for extended periods
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights
• Capability to work in various environmental conditions
• Temperature fluctuations dependent on seasonal changes and external weather conditions
• Work areas may contain environmental allergens and airborne particles including dust
• Ability to adapt to varying temperature conditions within the data center environment
• Ability to follow required security protocols including metal detection screening KPI:
• Performance based on queue priority expectations
• Professional conduct
