Contract | Nights | 3x12 or 4x12 shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to Emergency Department patients ranging from newborns to geriatrics
• Perform triage assessments to prioritize patient care based on acuity and clinical presentation
• Deliver treatment interventions and coordinate care throughout the patient's ED visit
• Manage discharge planning and patient education at the conclusion of the ED encounter
• Document and maintain accurate patient records utilizing EPIC electronic health record system

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (A.S.) or equivalent required
• Minimum one year of acute care experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) — AHA or ARC certification required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) — AHA or ARC certification required
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) required within 6 months of hire or transfer
• NIHSS certification required
• Recent EPIC experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Prior experience in a high-volume or Level I/II trauma emergency department setting
