Job Responsibilities

• Create Tailored Therapy Plans: Assess patient needs and design personalized treatment strategies to assist them in realizing their functional aspirations
• Implement Evidence-Based Therapies: Employ proven techniques to improve patients' motor capabilities, cognitive functions, and daily routines
• Collaborate in a Team Environment: Join forces with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, medical doctors, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Guide Patients and Family Members: Inform patients and their families about therapy methods, ensuring sustained progress outside the therapy setting
• Evaluate Progress and Adjust Treatments: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify therapy plans as necessary to keep patients on their recovery paths

Education Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational institution
• Support for ongoing education and post-graduate certification is encouraged

Certifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is a must
