About us Black Ore is building the leading AI platform designed to accelerate financial services. The company's flagship offering, Tax Autopilot, leverages proprietary AI agents to automate tax preparation and compliance, helping CPA & tax firms overcome the talent shortage and accelerate growth for their practice. Founded in 2022, we launched with $60 million in early stage funding from some of the world's leading investors including a16z, Founders Fund, General Catalyst, Khosla Ventures, Oak HC/FT, Trust Ventures and leading tech founders/angel investors including Jason Gardner (Founder and CEO of Marqeta), Max Levchin (Founder of Paypal and Affirm), Tom Glocer (Former CEO of Thomson Reuters), Gokul Rajaram, and Mark Britto (EVP, CPO, PayPal). - Experience in Sales - Minimum 4+ years in quota carrying roles
- Track Record of Top Decile Quota Attainment - Consistently exceeding 100% quota attainment and topping the leaderboards in prior roles
- B2B Fintech or Financial Software - Go-to-market experience with B2B technology sold to finance and/or accounting professionals
- Account Executive Background - Experience in a prospect closing role
- Sales Development Background - Experience in a prospect sourcing role
- Sales Tools Experience - Required familiarity with Salesforce, experience with other tools (Hubspot, Clay, etc.) is a plus
- Excellent Written & Verbal Communication -Able to clearly distill information and feedback to a wide range of stakeholders (executive, business, product, engineering)
- High Ownership - Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-moving startup environment
- Fast Learner - Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply new tools, techniques, and methodologies
- Financial Acumen - Experience or degree in finance or accounting
- SDR/BDR Background - Experience in an outbound sales prospecting role
- Accounting Firm Sales - Experience selling to accounting firms
- High Growth Startup - Experience operating in a high growth, high autonomy environment
- Accounting Background - Experience working in an accounting firm
