Associate .Net Software Engineer

Location:11501 Outlook Street, Overland Park KansasThis position is responsible for executing against the strategic projects for enhancing the capabilities of the Real Estate Capital business. This individual works closely with the line of business and technology colleagues to assist in the development, implementation, assessment, and support of one or more environments, applications, or platforms.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSDevelops clean, maintainable, testable code for work assigned.Actively works resolution of system and client experience impacts for one or more environments, applications, or platforms.Takes direction and embraces mentorship and training from senior engineers.Demonstrates active learning regarding industry trends regarding banking and technology.Learns and follows information security standards when developing code.Assists in testing and evaluating new and emerging technologies during the selection processUtilizes technical documentation, specifications, and project artifacts when developing codeEmbraces and follows established standards and best practicesREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSUndergraduate degree in business or technology related major or equivalent work experienceAbility to plan, multi-task, manage time effectively, and work on own with limited directionDemonstrated knowledge of relational databases, SQL programming logic and reportingBasic understand of following languages (.Net, VB, SQL, C#)Preferred QualificationsExperience in commercial lending support one or more areas of the loan lifecycleExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills that can explain technical concepts for non-technical audiencesBasic understanding of Agile software development methodologyExperience working on geographically diverse teams.Experience with Crystal Report development.Experience with Tableau development.Cloud architectureStrong understanding of (.Net, VB, SQL, C#)COMPENSATION AND BENEFITSThis position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $61,000.00 - $94,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $70,000.00 to $85,000.00 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
