Regional Sales Director, Immunology - Northeast Region

Merck seeks an experienced sales leader to direct the immunology sales organization across the Northeast region. This second-line leadership role manages district managers and field teams, overseeing regional strategy, P&L performance, customer relationships, and talent development to achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities

Lead, recruit, develop, and retain high-performing regional sales team and district managers
Own customer portfolio and experience, ensuring accurate communications across all team touchpoints
Build relationships with senior healthcare leaders and industry thought leaders for strategic engagement
Achieve regional business results and meet defined P&L targets for assigned territory
Align account strategies with payer considerations to optimize access and reimbursement outcomes

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and minimum 10 years pharmaceutical sales, marketing, or managed care experience
At least 3 years of people management and team leadership experience
3+ years building and managing customer relationships in healthcare or pharmaceutical sectors
Regional residency with ability to travel up to 50% including overnight trips
Demonstrated strategic business planning and omnichannel execution capability
Strong knowledge of regional healthcare dynamics, provider networks, and reimbursement strategies
Valid driver's license required
