Description

• Conduct evaluations for patients in both inpatient and outpatient contexts and devise personalized treatment plans tailored to individual needs
• Implement physical therapy interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Engage in collaboration with nurses, doctors, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to maximize patient outcomes
• Provide education to patients and families regarding therapeutic objectives, discharge planning, and home exercise regimens
• Thoroughly document evaluations, treatments, and patient progress in compliance with facility protocols and regulatory standards
• Take part in care team rounds and interdisciplinary conferences to ensure cohesive patient care

Education

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent from a recognized institution

Certifications

• Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state
• CPR certification is desirable
• Additional specialized certifications (such as neurological or geriatric therapy) are a bonus but not mandatory

Skills

• Prior experience is greatly valued
