Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity providing occupational therapy services within a dynamic educational setting for the upcoming school year. This position offers the chance to make a meaningful difference supporting students across a range of ages and ability levels, spanning early childhood through high school graduation. Work within supportive school environments, helping students build essential life and academic skills.

Position Overview:

  • Full-time commitment, 5 days per week (37-40 hours), with a schedule from July 22, 2026, through May 28, 2027.
  • Serve a diverse caseload, including students from pre-kindergarten (3K) through 12th grade.
  • Support students located within various attendance areas, including Pageland, Chesterfield, Cheraw, Jefferson, and McBee.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license (South Carolina certification or eligibility required).
  • Experience providing occupational therapy services in school settings is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with the development and execution of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), including assessments, goal-setting, and progress monitoring.
  • Strong communication abilities for effective consultation with teachers, staff, and families.
  • Adaptability and commitment to fostering student independence across multiple grade levels and abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screening and comprehensive evaluations for students with varying needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans, collaborating with educators and related support staff.
  • Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and individualized recommendations.
  • Deliver direct intervention and consultative services to promote student participation and success in academic and functional activities.
  • Document and report student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
