Job DescriptionA National leader in the custom home building industry, is looking for a New-Construction Operations Manager in Richmond, VA (Petersburg)The ideal candidate must possess a strong knowledge of custom residential construction, familiar with production building (multiple homes at one time), hard work ethic, problem-solving skills, and a servant-leader management style.The candidate will preferable be from/familiar with the South Richmond VA area & knows the local vendors/subs/etc to acclimate more quickly to the operations.This company is looking for the right person with “positive energy” and strong leadership abilities that will constantly be driving the Production & Sales processes as well as growing the team. Here is the basic breakdown of their approach to managing all aspects of the branch operations, sales & production for our office clientele & staff. Overview of Priorities:Review new leads with Sales TeamReview advertising and approve budgetUpdates with Division President weeklyReview sales pipeline, contracts, Starts, Warranty, Settlements, etcReview projections and challenges with managers & Corporate leadership.Job inspection when necessaryFinal Review meetingsPlan reviewsRecruit/hire/train/mentor/supervise employees, subs and vendorsNetworking expertiseNegotiate contracts & Hire subs and suppliersReview overhead costs and general P&LAddress customer concerns & Communicate ResolutionsPersonal/Family Compensation & Benefits:401KCompetitive salary (average ~$125-150k/year DOE) + Bonus'Bonus structure based on Branch profit/sales (3% of volume)Health insurance benefitsVehicle allowance @ $1100/monthCell phone allowance @ $75/monthPTO/Vacation and holidaysType: direct hire
