Senior Data Scientist

Senior Data Scientist Exelon Business Services Company LLC seeks full-time Senior Data Scientist in Chicago, IL to extract knowledge and insights from data, including time-series, structured, and unstructured data sets; mine big and small data for insights using advanced statistics and machine learning methods; validate findings by sharing analysis outputs with business stakeholders; collect, cleanse, standardize, and analyze data; produce novel insights to inform business actions using statistical modeling and machine learning techniques on complex datasets. Requirements: U.S. or foreign equivalent bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline, including Applied Math, Comp. Sci., Finance, Ops. Research, Physics, Stats., Econ., Engr., Analytics, Data Sci., or a related field + 4 years data sci. exp. developing hypotheses, applying machine learning algorithms, validating results to analyze multi-terabyte datasets and extracting actionable insights. Position may be required to work extended hours for coverage during storms or other energy delivery emergencies. Telecomm. 2 days/wk is permanent from within normal commuting distance of Chicago, IL. Salary range from $118,664 to $156,000.
