Registered Nurse - Acute Medical Unit (Med Surg)

This is a 13-week contract position.

12-hour day shifts, 12x3 schedule, with varying times from 7 AM to 7:30 PM.

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Acute Medical Unit, specializing in Med Surg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care in a clinical setting.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• A minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Med Surg nursing.
• Current AHA BLS & ACLS certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
