Job Summary

Our client is seeking an Occupational Health Nurse responsible for providing emergency care, first aid, and episodic treatment of occupational injuries and illnesses within standing orders. The position focuses on the prevention of illness and injury, protection from work-related and environmental hazards, and the promotion and restoration of health. The role also involves maintaining accurate medical records related to legal, regulatory, and reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care, first aid, and episodic treatment for occupational injuries and illnesses.
• Work independently to prevent illness and injury and promote health.
• Maintain accurate medical records complying with legal and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing
• Valid state nursing license
• Certified in Healthcare Provider CPR/AED
• Proficient with electronic medical records and basic computer programs/software
• Occupational Health, Urgent Care, or ER experience preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of nursing experience

Skills

• Technical skills: Proficiency in electronic medical records and basic computer programs/software

Additional Requirements

2nd shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
