Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor

Registered Nurse Supervisor Location: Apex Rehabilitation & Care Center, a 5‑Star facility. Schedule: Full‑time and part‑time options, including 12‑hour shifts, weekends and evenings. Responsibilities Providing a direct line of communication between patients, nursing staff, and physicians. Communicating with patients and families as needed, offering emotional support and compassionate care. Administering treatments, performing special tests, documenting treatment, and responding to patient care emergencies. Performing assessment and intervention skills according to guidelines, forms, policies, and procedures. Developing care plans that demonstrate knowledge of criteria to assess residents’ specific needs based on health‑care problems. Carrying out care plans that demonstrate familiarity with criteria to establish resident priorities and anticipated outcomes. Implementing physicians’ orders; administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, procedures, and special tests, and documenting as required by company policy and regulatory rules. Qualifications Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license. Minimum Associate’s Degree. BSN preferred. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Creative with good observational and analytical skills.
