Regional Site Specialist

Regional Site Specialist at Thermo Fisher Scientific manages laboratory inventory, supplies, and services across customer sites in the Cambridge area. The role involves inventory management, laboratory operations, customer support, and multi-site travel with flexible scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Manage inventory and orders using electronic systems including receiving, stock rotation, and cycle counts
- Perform laboratory services such as glassware processing, waste handling, and media preparation
- Deliver products to customer sites and resolve service issues promptly
- Travel between assigned sites weekly to ensure service coverage and maintenance
- Participate in safety programs, process improvements, and report analysis
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years customer service experience preferred
- Laboratory setting experience a plus
- Fluent English reading, writing, and speaking
- Proficient with handheld scanners and Microsoft Office
- Valid driver's license and vehicle access for inter-site travel
- Ability to lift 30-40 lbs regularly, up to 50 lbs occasionally
Compensation: $19.64–$27.10 hourly
