We are currently seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team of pediatric therapy specialists. We are looking for a qualified, motivated, compassionate and outgoing professional that has that Extra Special something that makes them stand above the rest.Position:We are seeking a Pediatric BCBA to join our growing ABA team. This role is ideal for someone who values collaboration, enjoys working in a multidisciplinary setting, and is passionate about supporting children and families through evidence-based, play-based interventions.Primary Responsibility:The Pediatric BCBA is responsible for evaluating and treating children with behavioral, developmental, and social-emotional needs while supporting families through education and collaboration. The BCBA develops individualized treatment plans and delivers evidence-based, play-based interventions that promote communication, independence, and participation in daily routines.Duties:Evaluation and Treatment: Evaluate and treat children with behavioral and developmental needs. Conduct therapy sessions using evidence-based ABA interventions in individual and group settings.Treatment Planning: Develop individualized behavior intervention and treatment plans targeting communication, social skills, adaptive behavior, emotional regulation, and daily living skills.Family Education: Educate and coach families on strategies to support behavior, communication, and skill development across home and community environments.Skill Development: Use therapeutic and play-based strategies to support functional communication, social engagement, independence, and reduction of interfering behaviors.Collaboration: Collaborate with healthcare professionals including CTSC's multidisciplinary team of speech therapists, occupational therapists, and physical therapists, in addition to pediatricians and educators.Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, treatment sessions, and progress reports.Early Intervention Services: Provide early intervention services and participate in Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) meetings when applicable.Supervision and Training: Provide supervision, training, and mentorship to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and support clinical growth of team members.Professional Development: Stay current with research and best practices in applied behavior analysis and pediatric therapy.RequirementsCurrent BCBA certification through BACBLicensed or eligible for licensure in ColoradoMinimum 2 years pediatric experience preferredExperience with naturalistic or developmental models (e.g., ESDM) preferredPrior supervision or leadership experience preferredCPR and First Aid certification (required by start date)Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skillsEffective communication with children, families, and team membersCollaborative, team-oriented mindsetAbility to adapt to a dynamic, play-based pediatric environmentSpanish-speaking preferred, but not requiredEnvironmental/Physical Requirements:Physical Demands:• Frequent engagement with children ages birth to 18, including those with behavioral or sensory challenges.• Frequent bending, squatting, crawling, and sitting on the floor to engage at a child's level.• Ability to stand, walk, and move frequently throughout the workday.• Ability to lift and carry infants and young children when necessary.• Ability to respond quickly to emergency situations, to children in distress or during physical challenges.Environmental Conditions:• Work in a dynamic, child-focused clinic environment with noise, movement, and active play.• Exposure to sensory-rich therapy environments including swings, obstacle courses, and therapy equipment.• Occasional travel between clinic and home settings for Early Intervention services.• Adherence to infection control protocols to limit exposure to illness.Allergen Exposure Considerations:• Potential exposure to common food allergens including peanuts, tree nuts, dairy, eggs, soy, wheat, fish, and shellfish.• Employees must follow strict hand hygiene and infection control protocols.• Contact with therapy materials (e.g., play dough, foam, latex, cleaning products) that may trigger allergic reactions.• Possible exposure to pet dander or environmental allergens in home-based settings.Benefits:Generous paid time off (work/life balance is highly valued)Company Apple laptopRetirement plan with company matchPaid continuing education allowanceAbility to independently manage own schedule, flexible scheduleStrong support system from leading supervisor, OT team and other disciplinesThe Equal Employment Opportunity Policy of Children's Therapy Services of Colorado, Inc. ensures fair and equal employment opportunity for all job applicants regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, or disability.Position anticipated to close by 8/31
