Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Location: Martinsville, VA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Department Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in a full-service, acute-care hospital setting. The successful candidate will join a compassionate team committed to making communities healthier and delivering exceptional patient care to individuals of all ages.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the emergency department.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Monitor and document patient progress and response to interventions.
• Manage emergency situations effectively and efficiently.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Registered Nurse (RN) License in Virginia.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an emergency room setting.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI/Handle with Care, NIH, and either PALS or ENPC.
