Registered Nurse - Labor, Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery

This is a 13-week contract position.

Nights - 12-hour shifts (36 hours guaranteed). Every other weekend required.

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in the Labor, Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery units. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor the health status of patients during labor and delivery.
• Provide individualized patient care, including postpartum education.
• Assist with newborn care and assessments in the nursery.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• 2 years of experience in Labor, Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery with Level 1 experience.
• BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRP, STABLE and AWHONN certifications are required.
• Current RN license in Michigan.
