Job Summary Audio Visual Command Meeting Engineer – support the DLA in San Diego, California. The role involves travel throughout ZoneD (OCONUS) – Alaska, Hawaii, Japan, Italy, Middle East, Germany, Korea – and may require augmentation support to other zones as needed. Responsibilities Support Senior Executive Services (SES) and military officers’ conference and meeting spaces. Install, pull, terminate, and test all audio‑visual (AV) cables, connectors, and interfaces. Install projection screens, plasma TVs, and various speaker systems. Carry out AV system installations on client sites and wire AV racks by reading blueprints. Serve as Lead Audio‑Visual Engineer and manage AV projects across multiple equipment models and manufacturers. Apply thorough knowledge of testing, analysis, and corrective action on systems, networks, hardware, and software. Understand all wire and connector types for AV‑related cables. Work with audio‑visual equipment, internet‑based video solutions, switchers, codecs, interfaces, and room design. Access classified areas to support Enterprise JWICS, installing and troubleshooting system hardware. Qualifications, Certification and Clearance Requirements Certification: minimum of one of the following – AMX Technician (Networked AV), completed Crestron CTI Technician Track, or AVIXA CTS. Experience: at least five (5) years of relevant experience, including working with Crestron, Cisco, Biamp/AMX, and Extron systems. Active TOP SECRET clearance required.
