What You'll Do:

• Provide general medical care to hospitalized adults with a variety of acute illnesses
• Conduct patient examinations upon admission and coordinate ongoing care
• Diagnose and treat illnesses, order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab work
• Communicate effectively with primary care providers and hospital staff
• Ensure thorough documentation using EPIC electronic medical records
• Follow hospital policies for dress code, breaks, and safety protocols

What You Need:

• NY State Nurse Practitioner license
• Board certification
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of recent hospitalist or acute care experience
• Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor

About the Assignment:

Join a reputable hospital designated as a Level 1 Perinatal Center and Primary Stroke Center, with DNV accreditation. This unit features adults with acute medical conditions, a patient ratio of 1:10-15, and a supportive team including providers, LPNs, and multidisciplinary staff. The role involves night shifts in a busy, fast-paced environment with a focus on quality care and patient safety.
