Microscope Inspector - ENTRY LEVEL - No experience required! 2nd shift $18.50/hour, contract-to-hire! Job Description This role focuses on detailed visual inspection and light assembly work in a clean-room, micro-electronic manufacturing environment. You will use a microscope for dimensional measurements and inspection, record production and quality data, handle and rack parts, and operate equipment to cure parts. Reliability and strong attention to detail are essential, as you will work with small components and precision measuring tools for most of your shift. Responsibilities Perform visual inspection of parts under a microscope for approximately 6–7 hours per day, intermittently throughout the shift. Assemble small micro-electronic components, including work that may be completed without a microscope. Use small hand tools such as tweezers and measuring instruments to handle and position parts accurately. Record inspection and production data accurately in the computer system, including data entry on the traveler for 1–2 hours per day. Why Work Here? Work Environment The role is based in a clean-room, micro-electronic manufacturing and production facility. You will work primarily on a second shift schedule, Monday through Friday from approximately 3:15 p.m. to 11:45 p.m., with occasional Saturday work as needed. Training will occur on the same shift for about 3–4 weeks. The work involves extended use of a microscope, small hand tools such as tweezers and measuring instruments, and operation of production and curing equipment. The environment is controlled, with clean-room protocols and procedures that must be followed at all times. The position requires frequent lifting of up to 40 pounds, several times per hour, and regular computer use for data entry. Dress and behavior must comply with clean-room standards, which may include wearing specialized garments and protective equipment to maintain product and environmental integrity. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
