About the Opportunity

We are partnering with a growing CPA firm seeking an experienced Enrolled Agent (EA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join its tax team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse client base, develop strong client relationships, and continue building your career in public accounting.

The firm serves closely held businesses, entrepreneurs, and high-net-worth individuals and values collaboration, technical excellence, and long-term professional growth.
Responsibilities

Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for individuals and businesses, including 1040, 1065, 1120S, 1120, and 1041 returns.
Assist clients with tax planning, quarterly estimates, extensions, and responding to IRS or state notices.
Communicate directly with clients to gather information, answer questions, and provide exceptional service.
Collaborate with partners and team members on client engagements while helping identify planning opportunities.

Qualifications

3+ years of public accounting tax experience with exposure to a variety of return types.
EA or CPA designation preferred; CPA candidates actively pursuing licensure are encouraged to apply.
Strong understanding of federal and state tax compliance and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Experience with tax software such as CCH Axcess, UltraTax, Lacerte, ProSystem fx, Drake, or similar platforms.
