Class A Truck Driver

Trillium Drivers is looking for Class A Drivers in the Memphis, TN area for day shift and night shift assignments!


Drivers will be handling local truckload deliveries, primarily drop & hook, no touch freight. You will be picking up trailers at a customer facility and delivering them to the plant daily, as well as delivering trailers with repaired pallets to the customer’s facilities.


Schedule is Monday through Friday 6AM-5PM or 3PM - 2AM - 10+ hour days. Pay rate is $23.50 per hour.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Deliver and pick up tractor-trailers containing wooden pallets within certain miles.
-Expected to make a certain number of deliveries.
-Expected to work 50+ hours/week.
-Will be driving automatic trucks; 53’ dry vans and/or flatbeds, depending on the location.
-Complete paperwork at customer site verifying delivery and retrieval of pallets.
-Inspect truck for defects before and after trips.
-Submit reports after trips indicating truck conditions.
-Maintain driver log through ELD according to U.S. DOT(FMSCA) regulations in locations where required.

Experience and Qualifications:
-Minimum 23 years of age.
-Must Possess a valid class A license to operate a commercial motor vehicle.
-Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician.
-1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years.
-High School Diploma or GED.
-Ability to maneuver vehicle in difficult situations such as narrow passageways.
-Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50-75 pounds
-Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required to be worn (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes).
