Labor & Delivery RN - Night Shift

Location: Newport, Vermont

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night Shift

Job Description: North Country Hospital is seeking a dedicated Labor & Delivery RN, including responsibilities in the Post-Partum and Baby Unit. This role requires adaptability to float to other units and manage overflow from the Progressive Care Unit. Candidates should be prepared to provide high-quality nursing care in a Critical Access Hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to labor and delivery patients.
• Support mothers during post-partum recovery and care for newborns.
• Float to other nursing units as needed to support hospital operations.
• Manage overflow from the Progressive Care Unit.
• Participate in department quarterly education sessions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active RN license.
• Experience in Labor & Delivery and post-partum care preferred.
