About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Rehabilitation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:30 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1+ years (no new grads) License: RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Epic experience, IRF, Med-Surg experience Description: This position is for an RN in a rehabilitation setting. The facility is a state-of-the-art inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital. The focus is on helping individuals regain their independence following an injury or illness. Programs provided include ongoing care and specialized treatment tailored to specific recovery needs. Patient diagnoses include stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. The aim is to maximize health, function, and quality of life through comprehensive rehabilitation programs. The unit operates with a patient ratio of 5:1 for RNs/LPNs and 7:1 for CNAs. Experience with Epic is required. The population served includes adults, some geriatrics, and rehabilitation patients. A weekend rotation is expected every other week. No float requirements are necessary for this position. New graduates are not eligible for this role.
