Production Pharmacy Technician

At ProCompounding Pharmacy, thousands of customized medications are prepared every year to help patients receive the treatment they need. Behind every prescription is a production team committed to quality, consistency, and working together to get the job done right. This is an entry level position. We're looking for a Production Pharmacy Technician who enjoys hands‑on work, values teamwork, and takes pride in contributing to a process bigger than themselves. This is not a customer‑facing role. You won't spend your day answering phones or handling patient issues. Instead, you'll work alongside a dedicated production team focused on preparing, packaging, labeling, and processing medications accurately and efficiently. What you'll do Assist with the preparation, packaging, labeling, and processing of compounded medications Support production workflows by completing assigned tasks accurately and efficiently Follow established procedures and quality standards Prepare materials and supplies needed for daily production activities Maintain accurate records and documentation Operate equipment and production tools according to training Complete cleaning, maintenance, and organization tasks Support inventory organization and material replenishment Work closely with pharmacists, technicians, and supervisors to maintain workflow Contribute to daily production goals while maintaining quality standards What success looks like Production goals are achieved safely and accurately Work is completed consistently and reliably Quality standards are maintained throughout the day Team members can depend on you to complete assigned responsibilities Work areas remain organized and inspection‑ready Documentation is completed accurately The team succeeds because everyone contributes You'll fit if you Enjoy working as part of a team Take pride in doing quality work Like staying productive throughout the day Appreciate structure and clear expectations Are dependable and consistent Work well with others Prefer contributing to solutions rather than creating problems Understand that small details matter Growth opportunities As skills and proficiency increase, opportunities may exist to expand into: Advanced production responsibilities Batch compounding Inventory and materials management Quality assurance activities Equipment operation and maintenance Specialized pharmacy functions Growth is based on demonstrated reliability, quality, teamwork, and performance. Schedule This position offers the choice of a four‑day schedule consisting of four 10‑hour shifts each week, one of which is a Saturday, or a five‑day schedule of 8‑hour shifts Monday–Friday. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Strong attention to detail Ability to work effectively in a team environment Dependable attendance and work habits Basic computer skills Ability to learn and follow procedures Good organizational skills Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 30 pounds Certification requirements Tennessee or North Carolina Board of Pharmacy registration required within 90 days of employment Successful completion of internal competency training Pharmacy experience is helpful but not required.
