Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse OpportunityYou're a compassionate Medical Assistant (MA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) looking to make a difference in your community? When you join PHC, you'll become part of a supportive team that values compassion, teamwork, excellence, and service.What You'll DoProvide direct clinical support to providers during patient visits.Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining medical histories, vital signs, medication lists, and allergy information.Assist with examinations and procedures, including wound care, injections, EKGs, blood draws, GYN exams, specimen collection, and other clinical services within your scope of practice.Administer medications and maintain medication sample inventory.Collect, process, and perform routine laboratory testing.Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked exam rooms while ensuring equipment is properly maintained and supplies remain current.Assist with patient communication, medication refill requests, referrals, scheduling, and follow-up care.Track immunizations and assist with vaccine inventory.Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).Follow HIPAA, OSHA, CMS, and PHC policies and procedures.Support Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) initiatives and chronic disease management.QualificationsMedical AssistantGraduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program.Certification or diploma required.Clinical experience preferred.Licensed Practical NurseCurrent Georgia LPN license required.Previous medical office or outpatient experience preferred.We're Looking for Someone Who Has:Excellent patient care and customer service skills.Strong communication and teamwork abilities.The ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment.Experience using electronic medical records (EMR), or the ability to learn quickly.Excellent organizational and time management skills.A positive attitude and commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality patient care.Benefits of Joining PHCCompetitive payComprehensive benefits packagePaid time off and holidaysRetirement plan with employer matchProfessional development opportunitiesMission-driven, supportive work environmentOpportunity to make a meaningful impact in your communityIf you're a compassionate Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse looking to build your career while making a real difference in the lives of others, we encourage you to apply.Apply today and help us continue revealing God's love by providing high-quality, accessible healthcare for all.We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.Primary Healthcare Centers is a group of non-profit community health centers dedicated to improving the health care status of our patients and our community by providing accessible, affordable, quality primary health care services to everyone, regardless of their ability to pay.
