Position Overview

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging.
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, providing clear and empathetic guidance at each stage.
• Work collaboratively with radiologists and physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images that aid clinical decision-making.
• Operate and maintain all imaging equipment, promptly reporting any technical issues encountered.
• Document procedures accurately and maintain comprehensive patient records in the electronic medical system.
• Stay informed about the latest advances in ultrasound technology and best practices.

Educational Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a relevant field.
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred.

Required Certifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent certifying body.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred.
