We are seeking an experienced Heating Technician to service primarily residential oil heating systems, including oil burners, furnaces, and boilers. Reporting to the Service Manager, this role performs diagnostics, repairs, maintenance, safety inspections, and customer communication while participating in a shared team on-call schedule.

 

Responsibilities

• Service and clean residential oil burners.
• Maintain furnaces and boilers.
• Diagnose heating system issues and determine appropriate repairs.
• Complete equipment repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Respond to emergency service calls as part of a shared team on-call rotation.
• Perform safety inspections.
• Provide basic service updates and detailed troubleshooting explanations to customers.
• Document service work accurately.

 

Required Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience servicing heating systems.

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with oil burner systems.
• Experience with boiler systems.
