About the Company
\nOur client is a global manufacturer of highly engineered industrial products with a high-volume, ISO-certified manufacturing facility in Denver. The plant runs three shifts, 24/5, and takes safety, quality and continuous improvement seriously. It is a stable, growing operation where strong supervisors can move up.
\n \nAbout the Role
\nWe are hiring a first-shift Production Supervisor to lead several operating areas, including tool installation, tool assembly and repair. You will report to the first-shift Production Manager and lead a team of 10–18 machine operators and pneumatic, mechanical and general tool assemblers. You will own safety, quality and on-time delivery for your areas.
\n \nWhat You'll Do
\n- \n
- Lead, train and coach 10–18 production team members; handle performance reviews, attendance and overtime. \n
- Build a strong safety culture through training, daily safety observations and audits, and keep your areas in line with EHS requirements. \n
- Run daily quality audits and drive quality issues to closure in an ISO 9001 environment. \n
- Track safety, quality and on-time-delivery KPIs, and keep production documentation accurate. \n
- Oversee a precision tool area where expensive, detailed tools are built and repaired, and use blueprints to guide the work. \n
- Find and carry out efficiency improvements using continuous-improvement tools. \n
What You Bring (Required)
\n- \n
- 2+ years in a high-volume manufacturing environment. \n
- 1+ year directly supervising production employees. \n
- High school diploma or GED. \n
- Clear, steady communication with operators, peers and management; able to handle conflict. \n
- Comfortable with computers and spreadsheets (Excel). \n
Nice to Have
\n- \n
- Metal stamping or metal forming experience. \n
- Experience in an ISO 9001 (or similar) quality-certified facility. \n
- Experience in tooling, tool assembly or repair, or reading blueprints. \n
- MRP system experience. \n
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or a relevant certification. \n
Compensation & Benefits
\n- \n
- $90,000 – $100,000 base salary, depending on experience. \n
- Annual bonus of 5–8% based on company performance. \n
- Health insurance, 401(k) with company match and paid time off. \n
Schedule & Location
\n- \n
- First shift with an early start (approximately 6-230pm/7-330pm). \n
- On-site in Denver, CO. \n
