Job Title Therapist Fee For Service Program Preferred Center for Children and Families Location Brick, Route 88 Position Type Fee For Service Compensation Starting rate $41.90/$51.50 depending on licensure. Rate increases $10.00 per session for over 10 clients per pay period. Supervision & Scheduling Free supervision provided. Flexible scheduling offered. Job Description / Summary Individual needs of persons served are addressed including assessment and evaluation, referral, follow‑up services, individual, group, and family therapy. Clinicians shall provide program services in locations that meet the needs of the persons served including traditional offices, residence, and community resource sites. Responsibilities Conduct clinical assessments, formulate diagnosis, and develop a preliminary treatment plan that aligns with assessment content. Complete assessments thoroughly in compliance with organizational policy. Prepare written assessments, including mental status examination, provisional multi‑axial diagnosis, and preliminary treatment plan with recommendations for ongoing treatment. Ensure the preliminary treatment plan addresses immediate, emergent client needs and recommend any necessary referrals or special treatment needs. Provide individual, family, and group therapy to assigned caseload. Maintain progress notes addressing treatment goals, objectives, and changes in mental health status. Document progress notes in the medical record within 24 hours for each face‑to‑face contact, telephone calls, and collateral contacts. Provide case management services. Qualifications Master's Degree in Social Work or mental health counseling. Clinical licensure as LAC or LSW with at least 2 years of related experience. Licensure as LCSW or LPC with at least 2 years of experience working with children. Substance Abuse certification. Trauma certification. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
