Custom Agri SystemsEXPERIENCED ELECTRICIANJob DescriptionSummary:The electrician assembles, installs, tests and maintains electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, apparatus and fixtures using hand tools and power tools. Diagnose malfunctioning systems and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of the problem. Inspects electrical equipment and identifies hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair and to ensure compliance with codes.Essential Functions1. Making decisions and solving problems, communicate with supervisor, peers and subordinates.2. Evaluate information to determine compliance with standards.3. Servicing, repairing, calibrating, regulating, fine-tuning or testing machines, devices and equipment that operate primarily in the basis of electrical or electronic principals.4. Processing the information, compiling, coding, categorizing, calculating, tabulating, auditing or verifying information or data.5. Analyze data and information to correct issues.6. Measures workpiece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation.7. Performs minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies or workpieces.8. Operates any equipment needed to perform job.9. Plan layout and installation and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.

Follow state and local building regulations based on the National Electric Code.Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works in cramped spaces and constant kneeling and standing can be tiring. Employees are frequently exposed to electrical shocks, falls, burns and other minor injuries. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions. The noise level in the work environment and sites can be loud.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative to those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and communicate. The employee frequently is required to sit. Must be able to cope with environmental extremes, they deal with extreme hot or cold temperatures, sun, wind exposure, and a good amount of manual labor, extreme heights and depths are not uncommon. Working outdoors is common practice throughout the year. The employee is occasionally required to smell. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.Position TypeThis is a fulltime position. Days and hours are Monday thru Friday, 7am to 4:30pm, 40 hours per week.
