POSITION SUMMARY

Prepare and serve the highest quality beverages to guests either directly at the bar top or through wait staff. Provide timely, accurate, and friendly service while upholding A Good Egg Dining Group’s mission to positively impact lives by building enduring memories and multigenerational relationships through a dedication to executional excellence, intentional service, extreme hospitality, and culinary trust.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding beer, spirits and wine. Know restaurant standards, table numbers, wait sections, menu, specials, and be able to answer any question customers may have effectively. Takes food and beverage orders from guests and ensures 100% accuracy when entering orders into the POS system. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non‑alcoholic drinks consistent with the restaurant’s standard drink recipes. Anticipate guests needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests. Wash and sterilize glassware. Prepare garnishes for drinks and replenish snacks, appetizers for bar patrons. Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areas. Assist the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies. Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be 21 years of age or older. Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests. Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions. Must have average to above average knowledge regarding beer, wine and spirits. Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a point‑of‑sale system.
