Job Description:

Responsible for the overall management of a service segment of significant scope and complexity at the country, region or worldwide level. Includes but is not limited to development, implementation and governance of product service or solution portfolio lifecycle management, revenue growth programs through the appropriate routes to market. Includes but is not limited to achieving revenue, profit and/or TCE goals for that segment/entity.

As the Services Program Manager for New Product Introduction, you will be part of the Services Business Operations team. Your mission will be to develop, evolve, and manage our Services product management process for new product introduction and new service introduction. You will be working hand-in-hand with Services Product Line Management, as well as Engineering Product Line Management, to continually improve these processes and to drive their execution across the services portfolio. You will ensure we distinguish NPI processes based on product and service requirements, put in place and use the tools we need to manage these processes, and drive the change management required to ensure strong practices. You will also work closely with other program managers to scale and extend our NPI processes. The ideal candidate will blend expertise in program and change management with experience in new product introduction and/or new service introduction in a technology company, preferably HPE (Hewlett Packard Enterprise)

Responsibilities:

• • Own the NPI processes for Aruba Services – evolve process design with cross functional feedback and periodic releases, driving change management cross-functionally
  • Build relationship and work closely with HPE NPI team to share best practices and drive process integration around shared systems, tools, and aligned services
  • Manage and measure NPI process effectiveness and adherence cross-functionally, ensuring adoption and effective execution by product management and SMEs to ensure projects and underlying functional inputs meet scope, time, budget and quality
  • Personally lead NPI for many key products and services, directly managing timelines, financials, cross-functional inputs and stakeholder relationships
  • Coach other program managers so they too can drive NPI effectiveness, providing detailed performance review input and development recommendations for team members
  • Contribute to Services PMO around program and change management
  • Build NPI program management team capability to more effectively assist and extend capability of product management team
  • Contribute to broader Services Business Operations initiatives

Education and Experience Required:

• Typically 12+ years to demonstrate mastery of Service Business Management.
• Advanced experience in several of the related disciplines of delivery, solution architecting or business planning prior to taking business management role.

Knowledge and Skills:

• • A demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in delivering programs and initiatives from inception through delivery
  • Focus on building scalable, repeatable processes
  • Effective managerial experience a strong plus
  • 5-10 years of business experience in program / project management and related roles, including new product development / new service introduction
  • Technology (hardware, software) industry experience, ideally including technology services
  • Program management and change management certifications a strong plus, e.g. PMP, CCMP
  • Understanding of Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) NPI / NSI processes and systems for Aruba / HPE Services also a strong plus
  • BA/BS with a strong record of academic success; MBA preferred

• • Self-starter who can navigate between big picture and tactical deliverables
  • Strong problem solving skills and willingness to lead by example, roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
  • Ability to effectively interact with Director level execs / stakeholders
  • Ability to build consensus and promote teamwork and collaboration across organizational boundaries
  • Willingness to speak up and when consensus fails, push for cross-functional commitments through charm, persuasion, and escalations if necessary
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills

– United States of America: Annual Salary USD 135,500 - 258,500 in Massachusetts
The listed salary range reflects base salary. Variable incentives may also be offered.
