Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Day & Night Shifts Available

Location: Tucson, AZ

Duration: 1 Year Contract
Shift Availability

• Day Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM
• Night Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM
• Shift Length: 12.5 Hours
• Block Booking Schedule Required

Schedule Rotation

• Week 1: 36 Hours
• Week 2: 48 Hours
• Weekend Requirement: Mandatory

Candidates must be flexible and able to follow the assigned facility schedule.
Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide direct patient care and support in a long-term care environment. The CNA will assist residents with activities of daily living, monitor patient conditions, maintain accurate documentation, and support nursing staff in delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, transfers, and ambulation
• Support mobility exercises and range-of-motion activities as directed
• Obtain and document vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respirations, and intake/output
• Collect urine, stool, and sputum specimens as needed
• Assist nursing staff with treatments, post-surgical care, enemas, suppositories, and post-mortem care
• Maintain accurate patient documentation, records, and worksheets
• Respond promptly to resident requests and call lights in accordance with patient rights and facility standards
• Assist residents during meal service and provide feeding assistance when necessary
• Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary resident care areas
• Support licensed nurses during emergency situations following established protocols
• Transport residents to appointments and assist with clerical duties when needed
• Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives and process improvement activities

Qualifications

• Active CNA Certification required
• Current CPR/BLS Certification required
• Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card required
• Ability to work weekends and rotating block schedules
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Knowledge of patient care practices and CNA procedures
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards
• Ability to safely operate medical equipment
• Strong documentation and record-keeping skills
• Ability to maintain a safe, therapeutic, and hygienic environment
• Ability to establish effective working relationships with residents, families, and staff
