Now Hiring: Temporary Operations Specialist!
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Operations Specialist to support daily business operations for one of our valued clients. This temporary role is ideal for someone who enjoys process improvement, problem-solving, and working across multiple departments to support operational success.
What You'll Do
- Monitor and coordinate daily operational activities
- Analyze processes and identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency
- Maintain and update operational procedures and documentation
- Support project planning and process improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards
- Maintain accurate records, databases, and operational reports
- Complete mail runs to the post office and local FedEx office as needed
- Identify operational risks and recommend solutions
- Provide support and training on operational procedures
- Serve as a point of contact for operational questions and concerns
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Customer service-oriented mindset
- Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license required
- Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma
- Knowledge of project management principles and tools
- Advanced data analysis and reporting skills
- Professional certifications related to operations or project management are a plus
