Electromechanical Assembler
Pay Rate or Salary Range: $20 - $25/hr. DOE Benefits include health, dental, and vision (following 60 days of employment) Employment Type: Contract, Temp2Hire Schedule: 9/80 schedule | 6:00 am - 3:30pm (or 5 am - 2:30 pm) Mon-Thursday and every other working Friday will be 6:00 am - 2:30 pm (or 5 am - 1:30 pm). Location: Folsom, CA 95630 Job Code: JPC-10842 Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Production Assembler to work on-site with our client, a global aerospace and defense company. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Operates and maintains stations to assemble, align, and adjust fabricated parts, components, or units according to specifications and follows established manufacturing procedures.
- Uses hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing assembly line equipment to assemble units.
- Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to ensure all components meet tolerances, product specifications, and quality standards.
- May repair or refit parts or units that fail tests or tolerance levels.
- Keeps daily assembly production records.
- Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Vocational/Technical Training preferred
- 1-3 years relevant experience
- General knowledge of assembly, calibration, component installation, soldering, troubleshooting, and functional testing.
- Ability to lift/move heavy objects.
